Welcome to the
Flower of Life website! In visiting this site, you have taken the
first step in a life changing process, for the Flower of Life teaching
is truly sacred knowledge. Be aware that the re-learning of the
Merkaba meditation has the potential to re-awaken within you the
realization of who you truly are, and reconnect you very powerfully
to All That Is. In a very real sense it is an initiation into the
Mystery School. It is a wonderful process and one that I would be
honoured to guide you through. So, who am I, and what is my background?
From an early
age I felt very drawn to exploring ways of improving the state of
humanity. It seemed logical, then, to express that through political
activity, and for many years I was involved in radical politics.
Eventually I realized that was not the right path for me. I turned
my attention and energies to studying psychology, and even before
I graduated I had begun my study and training in Homeopathy. And
so I began my career in natural medicine, both practicing and for
10 years teaching and training student homeopaths. I have been in
professional practice now for 22 years and still love my work.
My spiritual
journey gathered pace in 1973 when I came across Transcendental
Meditation. Since then I have been blessed with the guidance of
some wonderful teachers, including Lawrence Le Shan, several Buddhist
meditation teachers, and Ian Gordon Browne and Barbara Somers through
Transpersonal Training. Ian and Barbara accelerated my growth tremendously,
introducing me to the mystical traditions of East and West, alchemy,
and the Bailey work. Along the way I explored earth energies and
crop circles, and became deeply involved in Earth Healing. I also
started studying and practicing Chi Kung. When I first experienced
the work of Drunvalo Melchizedek and the Flower of Life teachings,
I felt immediately that this was my spiritual home. Flower of Life
brings together so many strands of spirituality that for me it provides
a template of knowledge AND experience that allows every part of
our being to stretch and grow into the beautiful manifestation that
we truly are.
I cannot finish
this biography without mentioning some things about me which are
sure to express themselves in workshops. I love to chant and sing,
and I love to make work playful and fun. Flower of Life is serious,
but I believe it is also joyful. If you feel drawn to this work,
do feel free to contact me. I live and work in the North East (UK),
but I am happy to travel wherever Spirit takes me!
