Growing up on
a dairy farm in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia gave me a
sensitivity to nature and a curiosity as to how the world worked.
It was during this time I began ballet classes at the age of eight.
From there I easily took to singing and acting and by High School
I had lead roles in various musicals.
After completing
a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Musical Theatre at the prestigious
Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, I worked professionally
in television and theatre for a number of years.
As a result
of my curiosity in the world around me I had also been eagerly studying
various areas of metaphysics including Yoga, Tai Chi, Felden Krais,
Alexander Technique, Reiki, Sacred Geometry, and Meditation.
Now as a Flower
of Life facilitator, I draw upon my experience both as a metaphysician
and performer is communicating Drunvalo's teachings. Using
singing and toning, drawing, storytelling and physical games and
exercises, I am in teaching experientially rather than intellectually.
Above all I
love creating a compassionate, open-hearted and fun experience not
just for the people I teach, but also for myself.
When I first
started communicating with one of my guides I decided I wanted to
play a bit, so I asked him to tell me a joke.
He said, "When
is it not right for a cat to fly?"
"I don't
know," I replied, "When is it not right for a cat to fly?"
My guide said,
"When it's a cat-a-pult."
"That's
awful!" I protested.
"You didn't
say it had to be a good one!"
Namaste,
