Born in Trinidad in August 1972, I was birthed into the ideal environment
that allowed me the perfect beginning to not only examine "life", but to
foster an interest in discovering the complete truth to what defines "life".

My name is Sonya Ramkeesoon and as early as I can remember, I was raised and nurtured by a spiritually open and knowledgeable mother; and a father who instilled in me an avid interest in all things paranormal. As a result, in my formative years my mind and spirit were opened to the beauties and
contrasts of varying traditional religions and cultural superstitions, as
well as the understanding and acceptance of multiple realities. It is
relatively easy as a child, but generally harder as an adult, to accept the
multi-dimensionality of "life" and to understand how these other aspects
continually influence and interact with us regardless of our awareness.

Many years later as a young adult, in a textbook case of serendipity, I
found myself at the Flower of Life web site as I sat surfing the internet.
Not entirely sure of how I came to be at this web site, I felt compelled to
read through it and knew in just minutes, that I had discovered a treasure;
and a new level of spiritual understanding and awareness was about to unfold
in my personal journey.

Though I lived in the state of Virginia at the time, I flew to Colorado to
take my very first Flower of Life workshop with Shari Billger in June 2000.
I knew by the end of that first workshop that I would one day share the
information that I was learning that weekend, with those drawn to receive
the teachings from me as I had been drawn to her.

Having previously studied other philosophies (those of the Rosicrucian, the
Silva Method and Self-Realization Fellowship), it is with the Merkaba that
full understanding of our human and divine nature, the world we live in and
the meaning of "life" is best realized. The Merkaba and its related field
of sacred geometry gives the student tangible understanding of often
complex, abstract, spiritual concepts. By utilizing both the left and right
side of the brain, you will understand these spiritual concepts at a more
advanced level. By re-connecting to your Merkaba field, you will be
allowing this higher knowledge and understanding to integrate with a new
flow of energy and awareness; ultimately reorganizing and remaking "you" and
your "life" in the image of the divine blueprint.

It is an honor for me to share these teachings and to assist you in
re-connecting with your personal Merkaba field. Whether you are new to the
spiritual/metaphysics arena, or you have many years of spiritual teachings
behind you, I offer you an environment that will foster compassion,
equality, understanding, and patience as we journey together into a more
enlightened state of being.
