So here
is the whole story about me for anybody interested in taking a workshop
in the land of glaciers and vulcanos!
I was born on the 24. of december 1966 in a small town in Bavaria,
Germany. My mother was an artist, my father a doctor of geology. They
were very unlike but both strange, loved traveling without a plan
and lived life their own way. So I am kind of genetically determined.
I spent my childhood a great deal by doing nothing in the company
of plants and minerals, observing ants and other small creatures,
playing games with other kids based on pure imagination and reading
any book within my reach. I took an early interest in spiritual teachings,
but became kind of stuck when I realized that reading wasn“t enough.
At the age of 13, in my mind I asked Paramahansa Yogananda to teach
me Kriya Yoga... . I had some very hard years as a teenager, not going
with the flow. During that time, I taught myself Hatha Yoga and did
a lot of other exercise like Karate and running through the forest.
I started reading ancient writings, psychology of C.G.Jung, Science
Fiction and New Age literature, and wrote poems just to channel emotions
so intense that at times I thought they would kill me.
At the age of 18, I left High School with an exam good enough to open
any door at university. Actually I studied psychology, ethnology and
communication science in Munich for about two years. After that I
had an experience of what I now know is called Shaman“s Death, and
my life in Germany ended there. So I left it behind and went to a
place so mystical to me that it was barely true, only to learn that
reality is more colourful than our wildest thoughts. I went to Iceland.
This was according to inner guidance, but against better advice of
anybody and without any means of support. I spent several months working
on farms, thereby experiencing a splendid nature and making the acquaintance
of extraordinary people. I learned their thousand year old language.
An old dream came true, too: working with horses. Later on, I got
work at the hospital in Akureyri and in 1992 my BSc. Nursing from
the newly established University of Akureyri. The same year I became
a licensed First Aid teacher and started practicing the first two
degrees of reiki. I have been married and mother of a daughter since
1996 and an icelandic citizen since the beginning of 1997.
A few months later I was given the remembrance of the merkaba when
I coordinated the first Flower of Life workshop in Iceland. Since
then, the puzzle pieces have been coming together really fast - and
the picture is becoming ever clearer (guess what picture...)! In 1998
I received the 3rd degree reiki initiations and started practicing
the Unity Breath. Synchronicity has become a normal part of my life
while becoming more and more aware of the unity of all that is and
the perfection of the moment. In spring of 1999, I went to Drunvalo“s
Earth/Sky workshop in Switzerland and only three weeks later, I joined
the facilitator training in Arizona.
I am excited about exploring the possibilities of the merkaba and
the expressions of sacred geometry in space and time. During my professional
work the last seven years, I have had the privilege of learning countless
lessons on human life and developing my abilities to empower the individual.
As a Flower of Life 2000+ facilitator, it is my purpose to facilitate
the access of the individual to the merkaba, sacred geometry, and
his or her own heart, his or her own inner source or Higher Self,
the place from which everything is possible.
In Love and Commitment,
