I am a retired
university professor, journalist, a currently licensed registered
nurse, past life therapist, energy healer and instructor in alternative
healing modalities. Having been in the forefront of implementing
multicultural education in California's public schools, colleges
and universities during the 1960's, I spearheaded mature women's
higher education in 1970 at a time when only the young coed was
acceptable on the college campus.
Searching for a change of pace after retirement, my husband and
I bought a working fishing boat and turned to the sea for a livelihood.
Nightly we hunted the prized yellow-tail snapper twenty miles offshore
from the southern coast of Florida (between Florida and Cuba). Encountering
nightly tropical storms and raging seas, I learned to turn to Spirit
for courage, stamina and protection. Years later aboard our 45ft.
schooner, en route to southern waters from Québec, we found
ourselves bombarded by the winter's floating ice in Halifax' harbor.
We'd set sail late in the season during hail and snow, but thought
within a week we'd reach the warm waters of the Gulf Stream. Again
brought back to Spirit by the writings of Ram Dass, I learned that
Guidance takes circuitous routes. It brought me here.
During a severe
illness I learned of Drunvalo Melchizedek, the Flower of Life and
the divine joy of opening the heart. Now fully recovered, I feel
honored to contribute as a catalyst in the empowerment of each individual
as she/he evolves in awareness and experiences Universal Unity.
I delight in sharing Flower of Life principles and teachings and
am always happy to travel to be of service.
Proceeds from
workshop fees will help support programs for South African orphan
children.
