Flower of Life Introduction and Mission Statement

Flower of Life Research was originally founded by Drunvalo Melchizedek in the early 1990s for the purpose of serving as the umbrella organization through which his Flower of Life basic workshop course would be taught. As the demands on his time grew, Drunvalo then created the Facilitator Program in which he trained select individuals to teach the basic Flower of Life course around the world. Since the inception of the facilitator program, it has expanded to include over one hundred active facilitators teaching in more than thirty countries around the world. In 1997 Drunvalo appointed Ronald Holt as director of Flower of Life Research, so Drunvalo could focus on his personal projects.

Since 1997 the Flower of Life has been streamlining its core workshop material in order to create a workshop that still retains the spirit of the original course and is affordable and easy to attend by the general public with no course prerequisites. In spring of 1999 the new Flower of Life 2000+ Workshop format made its debut. Its simplified format makes it possible for this workshop to be taught in any language around the globe. Its profound spiritual teachings are timeless and this new format will carry Flower of Life into the next millennium and beyond.

In September of 2000 we introduced the first Advanced Level Workshop called The Seed of Life Workshop Level I. This 7-day retreat not only takes the participant more deeply into the basic Flower of Life material, but introduces advanced material as well as provides profound experiential exercises so the participant may begin utilizing the teachings in his or her physical life.

In August of 2001 we further introduced The Seed of Life Level II. This 6-day workshop is uniquely held in only one location - in Ixtapa, Mexico near the Delfiniti Dolphinarium. During this highly experiential and deeply profound workshop, the captive dolphins of Delfiniti assist us in moving more deeply into the sacred temple of consciousness within us. Further exercises and information are introduced to assist participants to move to their next level of evolution if they so choose.

The Flower of Life organization is committed to aiding the personal and spiritual development of the individual in five specific areas of human potential. Our numerous and varied programs all reflect our commitment to developing the following:

Flower of Life firmly holds the belief that when the individual focuses on these developmental areas, the result is a more balanced internal and external world. Only from individual development can we create a safe and healthy planet. We promote no specific religion, guru, or dogma. Instead, we offer optional spiritual and personal growth activities to nurture the spirit of the individual. Through our educational programs, we are committed to assisting in the creation of this balanced world through individual healing and personal spiritual awakening.

Seeds of these teachings are presented within the Flower of Life workshop and our related activities, but they must be put into practice in one's daily life. Participants are exposed to a variety of information, stories, and tools that aid in the journey of expanding awareness, unifying consciousness, and, most importantly, opening the heart and connecting to the higher self. We encourage our participants to discover for themselves where to place these seeds in their own unique personal journey.

The seeds that are planted in our programs often begin to take root and blossom long after the workshops are over. At its basic foundation, Flower of Life Research was created to encourage and nurture the journey of discovery, helping individuals to live closer to their own source of truth, love, and joy.
